Wholesale Policies, Terms and Conditions

Wholesale Account Qualifications
We do not sell our wholesale multi-pack items to the general public.  You must be a qualified business, such as a food retailer or distributor, and be logged in as a wholesale customer in order to view and place online orders for our wholesale multi-pack products.  To qualify as a wholesale customer, please complete our Reseller Application.

We offer four convenient ways to place orders:

Minimum Orders
We require your initial order to be $250.  We do not require minimum dollar amounts on subsequent orders; however, we do require merchandise be purchased by the case on subsequent orders.

Back Orders
We pride ourselves on our prompt delivery.  We can have your order to you upon your request.  If we do not have your order to you within thirty days of your order date, we will automatically credit your account for 25% of the purchase price.

Shipping Charges
All orders are shipped UPS Ground.  Shipping charges will be added to your order.  Orders over $500 receive free shipping.  All of our starter packages include shipping.

Company Credit Terms:  
Bass Pecan will consider applications for credit only from companies that have been in business more than one year.  If you would like to request credit terms, please fill out a credit application.  For customers that are granted credit terms, the following policies apply:

 

  1. No shipments will be made to overdue accounts.
  2. Accounts with net terms that habitually pay late will revert to credit card purchases only.
  3. Interest of 1.5% per month (18% annum) may be charged to overdue accounts.
  4. Debtor agrees to pay all attorneys fees, court costs and collection agency fees necessary for collection in the event the account comes past due.
  5. Any returned checks are subject to a $35.00 fee.


Returns
We not only guarantee the quality of our products, but we also guarantee your satisfaction. If you are not 100% satisfied with your order, be assured that, with your assistance, we will resolve the problem quickly and easily. We will promptly issue a refund, credit, or replacement, whichever you prefer. However, we do not refund special order items or shipping charges. Nevertheless, we will be happy to provide you with a UPS return label to cover any return shipping fees.

To ensure that your returns are handled quickly and effectively, please be prepared to provide the order number, invoice number, and a brief reason for the return. Please follow instructions and requirements listed below:

  1. Customer Service must approve all returns and will do so by issuing a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number, which must be marked on the outside of each box. Please call us at 1-800-732-2671 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. CST, Monday through Friday to obtain an RMA number. For your convenience, once a return has been authorized, we will also provide you with a printable UPS return shipping label via email.
  2. To receive full credit, you must contact Customer Service within 30 days of the invoice date. No credit or returns are allowed after 30 days.
  3. No returns will be accepted for close-out items.


Order Damages
We go to great lengths to ensure that your order is correct, properly packaged, and well protected. Despite our best efforts, damage sometimes occurs during shipping. We strongly recommend that you always inspect your shipment before signing. If any exterior damage is visible, we recommend you not accept the shipment; and, if there is interior damage, please contact us immediately so that we can assist you.  UPS insures all UPS shipped packages.  Their claim procedure requires that you contact them upon receipt of the damaged goods.  We cannot authorize credit for damaged merchandise unless you follow UPS procedures and they acknowledge the claim.  The UPS claim number is 1-800-742-5877.

Food Guarantee
Food items are perishable.  Please remember to rotate your stock from back to front.  We pride ourselves on getting pecans to you with the longest possible shelf life.  We store our pecans in a climate-controlled warehouse, rotate our stock with every shipment, and practice rigid pest prevention and control.  We guarantee the freshest pecans are delivered to you.  However, we cannot guarantee the sale of food items in your store.  Please order wisely and rotate stock regularly to prevent having expired foods on your shelves.  This will reduce unnecessary returns and help to keep our prices low.  For more information on how to best preserve your pecans contact your sales representative and request our Pecan Preservation Chart.

Use of Our Photographs
To request permission to use the photos on our site, please contact us.  To speed up your inquiry, please include a brief description of how and where you would like to use our photos, as well as which photos your request pertains to.
